Alik hummed quietly while he worked, typing away at the keyboard, unaware that his microphone was on.
"You have such a nice voice. I never knew, Alik." Carmen mused. She was settled in a hotel, just getting ready to leave. Her things were still on the helicopter, she'd stayed the night in the hotel, and would be leaving by morning, if she even got back to the hotel room. She stepped outside and took a cab toward the ACME headquarters. She'd stop several blocks away and walk the rest.

Where on Earth, Spies Ch. 9"Nastalo vremya dlya pereryva." Carmen stretched a bit, standing. She looked back at the little Gecko. He was in horrible shape, laying on the table she had set up. Carmen hated to get her hands dirty, but she was a spy. She wasn't some nice girl pretending to be a spy, and she wasn't there for eye candy. She knew her stuff.
"Your tail will grow back. Your lower back, on the other hand, will be in some pain for a good deal of time. Or would be. Can you even feel it? I know you can't feel your feet, at least. Don't worry too much, though. You have a good department. If you make it out of here, they'll be kind enough to put you in a wheelchair Where on Earth, Spies Ch. 9

Where on Earth, Spies Ch. 7"Aïe! Rappelez-moi à pousser cette femme d'une falaise!" Waldo cringed and clutched the side of his hospital bed in pain.
"I didn't catch that, want to say it again in English?" Erin queried with an amused look. She learned a lot of languages, but unfortunately, her French was not that developed yet.
"Non, If I wanted you to know what I said, I would've said it in English." He grumbled, watching while Erin sewed him up. As inexperienced as she was, that inexperience taught her how to sew up injuries -really- well. Still, it didn't help that he was in a good deal of pain.

Where on Earth, Spies Ch. 6"Vy bol'she ne smozhete mne pomeshat', shpion! I will repeat for your english ears. You will not again cross me, Spy." Carmen stated calmly, holding the gecko between her fingertips. Her fingernails came dangerously close to damaging his windpipe. The gecko struggled, but geckos didn't have a whole lot of self-defence. The gecko squirmed in her grasp and tried to speak. He had a defiant look, it was probably important to him. "I am not sure if I should kill you, torture you, or let you go on principal. I am not one for animal cruelty." Carmen was always so smug. No wonder the Frenchman hated her. She soon released the gecko's windpipe, keep Where on Earth, Spies Ch. 6

Where on Earth, Spies Ch. 5"Zdravstvooy, moy krolik!" Carmen trilled, walking off the elevator from the helipad and into a dimly-lit room full of computers with a smile and her stolen goods in hand.
"Hello to you, too, Carmen." Alik remarked, looking up only briefly. He had a headset on over short blond hair, and just as promised he was wearing a suit. No real reason for it, just to make Carmen smile. He tapped away at the console, seeming busy. He was wheelchair-bound, but hardly seemed to notice. He didn't really go much anywhere, anyway. His job was to sit and find things on the computer, so that was what he did.

Where on Earth, Spies Ch. 4"Rat teebya veedet', Paris!" Carmen trilled, calling from her helicopter. Her makeup was touched up enough to cover the redness of her injuries, her impeccable smile was restored, and she had the Mona Lisa in hand while she stood at the rope ladder up to the helicopter. She smiled widely down at Paris and climbed the ladder as the chopper made its escape. She wondered whatever became of her fellow spy.

"Etes-vous bien, mon ami?"
"Non, j'ai été poignardé."
"Je vais vous emmener à l'hôpital."
"Non, Erin. I have a spy to catch. Just some quick staples, please." Waldo waved away the offer to take him to the ho Where on Earth, Spies Ch. 4

Where on Earth, Spies Ch. 2"Dobriy den', Wally." Purred that oh-so familiar Russian accent. She was sitting in a cafe in France. Alik said her weapons were nearly undetectable, but she doubted Alik had any idea just how close she was intending to get to Waldo. She didn't even go there for the Mona Lisa. She was there for her own purposes. And a perfect cup of espresso, of course. Hazelnut. With a drawing of a rose in the foam, too. How cute of the barista. She left him a kiss on the cheek for it, too.
"Good evening to you, too, Carmen. I thought you'd be leaving me notes to chase after all evening. Meeting face to face is new." Waldo remarked, tentatively taking a sea Where on Earth, Spies Ch. 2

Where on Earth, Spies. C+W"Fils de salope!" cursed the Frenchman. He crushed a cigarette in his hands and stared up at the sky. That woman in crimson was getting away, and in Da Vinci's flying machine no less! The Frenchman sat down by Trevi fountain in Rome, resting his face in his hands. That was the third time in a week she'd gotten away from him. He was a French spy, investigating this lovely Russian lass. Yes, Russian. "Carmen" was her code name. "CARMEN" stood for "Careful Acquiring, Ranged Monitor, Espionage, Negation". It was her job. A special sort of spy. The only one of her class. To go against her, the counter-espionage artist was Waldo. That wasn't the Fr Where on Earth, Spies. C+W
